With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matthew Joseph Fritz (Madison, Alabama), who passed away on January 31, 2025 at the age of 27. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Matthew Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Matthew Joseph touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his grandfather Cletus Fritz; and his uncle Kevin Fritz. He is survived by: his parents, Alan Fritz and Heather Fritz; his brothers, Brian Fritz and Mark Fritz (Sarah Nunley); and his grandparents, Fred, Cynthia McCarthy and Beverly Fritz. He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (1055 Hughes Rd, Madison, AL 35758). A Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
