It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Edna Herrington of Madison, Alabama, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on June 19, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Richard Merlin and Elma McIntyre Goddard; her stepmother Cynthia Carolyn; her daughter Lynne; her husband Mark Hilburn Herrington; her sister Elizabeth Ann Dawkins; her sister-in-law Carolyn (Tom Ware); her son-in-law Keith Johnson; her son Bruce Herrington; her daughter-in-law Amy; and her grandchildren, Jon, Bethany Johnson Nemati, Captain Joshua, Rachel Herrington Mote, Mark Taylor Herrington and Rebecca Grace Johnson. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church Huntsville's Deacon Fund, or to Huntsville's Downtown Rescue Mission.
