Though Marion Shayne may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marion Shayne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Swint Sr. and Daisy Swint (Posey); and his siblings, Margaret A Swint (Van Lear) of Nashville and Gordon O'Bryan Swint Jr. of Athens. He is survived by: his niece Angela Faye Thornhill of Wilmington, NC.; his sister Wilda Thornhill (Whitt) of Wilmington; and his wife Sherry Thompson. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
