She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Kania and Wanda Kania; her brother Walter Kania Jr.; and her son-in-law Kenton Schroeder. She is survived by: her husband Daniel Byrnes; her children, Kristina Schroeder and James Byrnes; her grandchildren, Jamie, Janna Byrnes and James Byrnes Jr.; her niece Andrea Rogers Pauloski; and her nephew Tanner Clark. She is also survived by many other brother and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
