He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth Otis and Adeline Otis; his close friend Elizabeth "Bette" Otis; his daughters, Julie Paterson (Jeff) and Sara Hodgkinson (Brent); his sisters, Julie Lee Mayer (John) and Beth Yerrick (Darryl); and his grandchildren, Kenneth, Jessica, Cynthia Paterson, James and Mei Light.
Memorial donations may be made to Crisis Services of North Alabama in lieu of flowers.
