He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Loyd Miller and Bell Church Miller; and his siblings, Ernest Miller and Martha Yarbrough. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Gail Gates Miller of Ardmore, AL; his daughter Kelly Coble (Paul) of Ardmore, AL; his brother Melvin Miller of Athens, AL; and his grandchildren, Hayden and Olivia Coble. He is also survived by several in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
