She is survived by: her parents, Arthur Winters and Shirley Hall Franks; her husband Robert "Bob" Birk of Madison, AL; her stepdaughters, Rebecca Cortese (Brandon) of Franklin, TN and Amanda Birk of Nashville; her sister Valerie Beneford of Muscle Shoals, AL; her grandson Easton Cortese of Franklin, TN; her niece Mollie Melton of Muscle Shoals; and her nephew Tanner Bozeman of Muscle Shoals, AL..
