We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2020, at the age of 72, Joseph Clayton Smallwood of Madison, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Jean Smallwood; his daughter Kristen Chambers; his grandchildren, Clayton Daniel Chambers, Eli Reed Sokolowski and Loryn Brooke; his father Jimmy C. Smallwood; and his brother David Smallwood.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Clayton Smallwood (Brittany) and Kelly Smallwood Sokolowski (Gannon); his grandchildren, Easton and Annika; his mother Nadine Crawford Smallwood; and his siblings, Robin Chastain (Doug), Dee Smallwood and Lynn Farmer (Hugh).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The American Diabetes Association or the JDRF Alabama Chapter.
