He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl McGee and Blanche McGee. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Kevin McGee and Cathleen Erin McGee Tapscott (David); his grandchildren, Patrick Garrison Tapscott, Preston Miles Tapscott (Matt Mattard) and Alyssa Jeannie McGee Nixon (Payne); his great grandchild Eli Fitzgerald Nixon; and his sister Doris Lou McGee Robinson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

We’d stop when we were out walking our dog. He was the sweetest man with an infectious smile, a pleasure to stop and chat with. We’re very sad that our paths won’t cross again, for now.
