He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie and Olaf; and his brother Walt. He is survived by: his wife Linda Coplen; his children, Christie Coplen (Tim Martin), John Coplen, Collins Coplen (Sarah) and Anna Spear (Neil); and his sister Elise Goodman.
