He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Joseph, Sr. and Mary Kane Gillespie; his wife Ingrid; his daughter Carolyn Kottmeyer (Mark); his granddaughters, Alexa and Jessie; his great grandchild Alanna; his daughter Elizabeth Lilley (Bryan); his grandson James; his great grandchild Edward; his son James Joseph; and his siblings, Sarah Ferraro, Mary Theresa Bergan, Catherine Whelan, Michael Gillespie, Patrick Gillespie and Bernard Gillespie.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be gratefully accepted by the St. John's Music Ministry or the St. John's conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
