Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Iva Chastain (Madison, Alabama), born in Emma, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 97, on August 30, 2019. She was predeceased by: her parents, Casper Henry and Mary Jane Marlin (Curtis); her husband Lester Lionel Chastain; her son Samuel Marlin Chastain; and her sister Frances Englebright.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judi Randolph (Robert) of Winter Haven, FL, Stephanie Nordyke (Jay) of Birmingham, AL and Jacque Denny (Scott) of Huntsville, AL; and her sister Mary Jane "Sue" Snyder of Evansville, IN. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dorris' memory to Downtown Rescue Mission in Huntsville, AL, or the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association or Kindred Hospice in Huntsville, AL and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
