Though Homer Junior may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Homer Hovis and Annie Dee Hovis; and his siblings, Dorothy Ann Lewter, Frances Minitree, Geneva Strickland and Buddy Hovis.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jerry Hovis (Linda), Aaron Hovis (Grapy), Charles Hovis (Joann), David Hovis (Pam) and Chuck (Nancy). He is also survived by his five children, thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Berryhill Funeral Home (2305 N Memorial Pkwy, Huntsville, AL 35810).
