It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Hunter (Madison, Alabama), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on February 24, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dr. Bodie and Bernice Shelhorse; her siblings, Lee Shelhorse of Rockville, MD and Alice Shelhorse of Winchester, MA; her son Erwin Hunter (Dawn); her grandchildren, Jennifer, Chris Brady, Cheyenne Brady, Alex and Gabby; her son David Hunter (Pam) of Milford, MA; her granddaughters, Sarah and Elizabeth; her daughter Shirley Black (Eddie) of Madison; her granddaughters, Catherine Waselkov (Peter) and Emily Sexton (Chris); her daughter Patricia Sams (Ronnie) of Madison; her granddaughters, Jessica Yarbrough (Cain) and Amelia Panazze (Spencer); her daughter Linda Markiewicz (Chet) of Spring Hill, FL; her grandchild Nastasia; her former husband Dr. Herb Hunter; her husband Neil Jauken of Madison; and also, Leo, Eric, Henry, Emmett, Garrick Sams (Morgan), Daniel Copeland, Matthew Copeland, Lucas and Cassandra. She was also cherished by 56 children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren as well as numerous other relatives.
