She was predeceased by: her parents, Helmut Kleihs and Anna Maria Charlotte Kleihs; and her siblings, Gerhild Sherman, Erbo, Willie and Helmut Kleihs.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Townsend; her children, Jessica Power (Randy), David Townsend (Kari), Jefferson Magness (Myka) and Christopher Magness (Felicia); her grandchildren, Abby Townsend, Jacob Magness, Caden Townsend, McKenzie Spinks and Savannah Power; her brother Uwe Kleihs; and her siblings-in-law, James Townsend, Brenda Hicks (Rodney) and Linda VanWinkle (Harold). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In honor of Hannelore, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
