She was predeceased by: her mothers, Zona Heard and Mary Heard; and her siblings, Ines, Sonny, Wendell and Harold.

She is survived by: her children, Aridth Watters and Justin Jones; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Ward, Amanda Jones, Jason Watters and Jennifer Bearden. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
