He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Carter and Jenny Louise Norman Carter; and his brother Billy Don "Babe" Carter. He is survived by: his wife Martha Clark Carter; his daughter Amanda Carter Kemp (Aaron); his grandson Chase Haggenmaker (Skye); his great grandchild Slayden Haggenmaker; and his sister Kay Carter Agee (Elliott). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
