He was predeceased by : his wife Loretta N. Kaufmann; and his siblings, Dale Kaufmann and Darlene Schmidt. He is survived by : his daughter Karen Caudle of Madison, AL; and his granddaughter Lauren Caudle.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Carmichael Funeral Home - Smyrna (2950 King St SE, Smyrna, GA 30080). A graveside service was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery (1306 Whitlock Ave SW, Marietta, GA 30064).
