It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick Samuel Holt of Madison, Alabama, born in Clinton, Iowa, who passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Joanne Holt; and his parents, Edward John Holt and Margaret Adeline Colschen. He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Holt of Clinton, IA, Vernon Holt of Fulton, MO and Joseph Holt of Madison, AL; his granddaughters, Teresa Alexander of Madison, AL, Kimberly Bradford of DeSoto, MO, Tammy Herrera of Okinawa and Margaret McNeal of Lebanon, TN; and his sister Edwina Jean Holt Spencer of Clinton, IA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
The family will hold a private service and request that in lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
