He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Abram Cole and Evelyn Powell Cole; and his brother Powell Cole. He is survived by: his wife Glennis Cole; his sons, Michael Cole (Glena) and Kevin Cole (Sabrina); his grandchildren, Mollie McNeese (Donald), Lynn Cole, Derek Cole (Winter) and Matthew Cole; his great grandchildren, Ian Tucker, Elliott Tucker, Everleigh Cole and Reagan Cole; and his siblings, Cathy Baugher (John) and Danny Cole (Sarah). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home (322 US-31, Athens, AL 35611). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
