He was predeceased by: his wife Rubye Chapman Peters Davis; his parents, Ezra Zemeriah Davis and Queenie Mae Brooks Davis; his stepdaughter Juanita Peters Prestridge; and his siblings, Raymond Davis and Hosielene Davis Lawson.
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Lovette Peters Bennett Streets and Yvonne Peters Wesley. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
