It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn Irene Byrd of Madison, Alabama, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on July 8, 2023, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn S. Bridger and Gilbert R. Bridger; her husband John L. Byrd; her sister Gladys Ethylene Bridger Oliver; and her grandson Adam Byrd.
She is survived by: her sons, Dick Byrd (Sandi), Dave Byrd and Tom Byrd (Alice); and her grandchildren, Susan Howard (Dennis), Brad Byrd (Lisa), Bryan Byrd and Matthew Byrd. She is also survived by six great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.
Flowers may be delivered to Legacy Chapel, or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Madison Methodist Church.
