He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Henry Choate and Margaret Edia West Choate; and his son Mark Stanford Choate. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Dupuy Choate; his daughter Cathey Young (Chet); and his grandchildren, Rebecca Lynn (Daniel), Morgan Burns (W. D.) and Austin Young (Claire). He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
