He is survived by: his wife Sybil Martin; his children, Kimberly Farris, Jerrell Martin (Stephanie) and James Martin (Nancy); his stepchildren, David Tomlinson, Josh Tomlinson and Laura Burroughs (Eric); and his siblings, Brenda Brown (Wesley), Ann Sledge (David) and Glen Martin. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
