Sikes of Madison, Alabama, born in Waynesboro, Georgia, who passed away on May 19, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Author Sikes and Sally Sikes; his siblings, Junior Sikes, John Mack Sikes, Donnie Sikes, Geneva Robinson, Dorothy Vickery, Catherine Pate and Sandra Sikes; and his son David Earl Sikes, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Debbie K. Sikes; his children, Courtney Sikes and Jeff Boyd; his grandchildren, Leland Boyd, Ava Sikes and Chelsea Sikes; his great grandchild Aliea Frazier; and his siblings, Billy Sikes and Diane Nunnally (Ron). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
