He was predeceased by: his daughter Taylor Perry; his parents, Vernon Hugh Perry and Carey Ann Perry; and his siblings, Tina Stallions, Sherry Perry and Scottie Perry.

He is survived by: his wife Kelly Perry; his children, Jordan Perry (Lauren), Peyton Perry, Austin Hamilton, Skyler Mears and Kobe Perry; and his siblings, Bruce Perry (Vickie), Donnie Perry (Tinea), Tammy Holman (Ray) and Marilyn Davis (Steve).
