He is survived by: his wife Retha; his daughters, Lisa Suttles (Jerry) and Anita Crews (Eddie); his grandchildren, Benjamin Suttles (Demi), Stephanie Suttles, Blake Crews (Hannah) and Brandon Crews; his great grandchildren, Jacob and Grayson Crews; and his siblings, Calvin Carter, James Carter, Linda Clemons, Faye Carlisle, Katherine Layne and Don Carter. He is also survived by son; and many nieces and nephews.
