He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Rooker; his daughters, Evelyn Faye Coleman and Patricia Ann Collins; his grandson Virgil Collins; his parents, James P. W. and Gradie Rooker; and his siblings, Charles Rooker, James Rooker, William Zeke Rooker, Calvin Rooker, Connie Graff and Maddie Powell.
He is survived by: his brother Gary Wakefield; his daughter Billie Harper (Don); his grandchildren, Pam Harper of Lynn, Alabama, Teresa Harper of Lynn, Alabama, Misty Stidham of Lynn, Alabama, Josh Harper (Susan) of Lynn, Alabama and Jeremy Collins of Pekin, Indiana; and his great grandchildren, Brooke Davis (Brandon), April Key (Nick), Tony, Gabe, Grayson and Justina (Nick). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
