He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Thorn and Lawrencie Mae Thorn; and his sisters, Mary Lou Boyce and Bernice Parker. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Thorn; his children, Michelle Ward (Tony) and Michael Thorn; his grandchildren, Derek Jones (Cheyenne), Ethan Jones, Clay Ward (Kasandra), Seth Ward (Taylor), Michaela Patterson (Alex) and Kaitlyn Thorn; his great grandchildren, Chasen Jones, Ethan, Emberly Ward, Aaliyah Ward and Walker Patterson; his mother-in-law Margie Elrod; and his sister-in-law Belinda Turner (Chris). He is also survived by dog; and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorials be made to the Lynn Church of God in Jerry's honor.
