Donald Wakefield Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Wakefield of Lynn, Alabama, who passed away on December 1, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ganus Wakefield and Hazel Wakefield; his parents-in-law, Lester and Luna Courington; and his siblings, Ralph Wakefield and Wilma Patterson.

He is survived by: his wife Becky Wakefield; his children, Mandy Wakefield and Matthew Wakefield; his grandchildren, Garrett Wakefield and Aubrey Wakefield; his daughter Erica Wakefield; his brother Roger Wakefield (Frances); and his sisters-in-law, Kay Wakefield, Cynthia Glasgow (Jimmy) and Donna Nelson (Mitch). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
