He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Allen Bagents, Daniel Bush and Jamie Finlayson; his parents, James Rex and Sara Cameron Bagents; and his brother Hugh Bagents.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Sue Sanders Bagents; his children, Bill Bagents (Laura Lynn), Ricky Bagents (Terri Lynn), Mike Bagents (Lora Gail), Tim Bagents (Terry), Melanie Bush (Billy) and Randy Bagents (Lisa); and his brother Joe Bagents (Cheryl). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be to the Overton Memorial Library at Heritage Christian University or Childhaven Children's Home.
