He was predeceased by: his wife Becky Hughes; his daughter-in-law Selena Hughes; his parents, Wilson Hughes and Ruth Tisdale Hughes; and his siblings, Carey Hughes and Leigh Jeffcoat.
He is survived by: his sons, Danny Hughes and Jason Hughes (Angela); his grandchildren, Cole Hughes (Anne Lawrence), Caitlin Hughes and Meagan Hughes; and his sisters, Lynn Stallings (Denny) and Kellie Henderson (Bill). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Glenwood Baptist Church (79 W Dyer St, Glenwood, AL 36034). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Glenwood Baptist Church.
