He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Lester and Gladys Holmes Lester; and his siblings, Betty Byrd, Fleta West, Mary Hodge, William Lester, Randy Lester, Juanita Gooden (Bobby) and Barbara Tompkins (Neal).
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Jane Lester, Duane Byrd (Donna Lee) and Foy Hodge (Nancy). He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
