He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Moore; his parents, Cletus Moore and Ruth Napier Bagwell (John Julian "JJ"); and his brother Gene Moore. He is survived by: his friend Jack Miller; his children, Lynn Smith (Donnie "Boots" Killingsworth), Dr. Phillip Anthony Moore and Susan "Missy" Moore; his grandsons, Drew Smith (Dana), Jonathan Smith and Tristan Missildine; his great grandchildren, Sam Smith and Katie Smith; and his siblings, Bonnie Ruth Bagwell Vaughan (C. T. "Ted" Jr) and Dr. John D. Bagwell (Cheryl). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Turners Funeral Home (360 E 3rd St, Luverne, AL 36049). A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Providence Cemetery (N Glenwood Rd, Alabama 36034).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Glenwood First Baptist Church.
