She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Hix and Lucy Hill Payne Solomon; her brother Jack Payne Solomon; her sister-in-law Olivia Pienezza Solomon; her aunt Mary Julia McVay; and her cousins, Eleanor Boswell, Dixon Boswell and Glenda Boswell.
She is survived by: her aunt Julie; her niece Suzannah Solomon Wilson (Darrell); her nephew Will Solomon (Leah); her great-nephews, Payne and Hayden Solomon; her cousin Elizabeth Pope; her extended family Linda Boswell; and her daughter Tina Lowery. She is also survived by relatives, caregivers, and friends.
While Ellen loved receiving flowers from friends, but she loved children more so those wishing to remember her are encouraged to make a donation in her memory to the children's department of Luverne United Methodist Church or the children's section of the Luverne Public Library.
