He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John Bonnie and Lula Jeanette McArthur Wise; and his parents, John B. Wise and Lula Jeanette McArthur Wise. He is survived by: his friend Marlin Dyess; his wife Tulah Dismukes Wise; his grandchildren, Megan Florence (Mitch), Jasmine Dean (Bradley), Mack Wise (Addison), Chase Johnson (Alex), Anna Leigh Kilcrease (Cade) and Baleigh Johnson; his great grandchildren, Scottie, Blakely Florence, Hallie Dean, Margot Kilcrease and Hazel Wise; and his brother John Milton Wise Sr. (Lilellen). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In fact, many were unaware exactly what all Mack had done over the years for Luverne until the city council issued a resolution on November 14, 2022 which honored him as Citizen of the Year for all of his contributions to our community.
