She was predeceased by: her son Bill Bachmann; her parents, Edwin Claybourne and Julia "Dawn" Holland Prestwood; and her brother Clay Prestwood. She is survived by: her husband Wendell Butts; her children, Dawn Durick (Kevin), Melissa Killough and Jason Butts (Danielle); her grandchildren, Patrick Bachmann (Kristin), Jonas Butts, Ronan Butts and Quinn Butts; her great grandchildren, Jackson and Charlie Bachmann; and her sister Lucy Armour (Jim). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Joquin Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorial donations be made to either Kid One Transport of Alabama or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
