He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bruce and Jewell Spencer Bruce; his siblings, Lotherene Brown and Spencer Bruce; and his niece Kathy Montgomery.
He is survived by: his nephew Bob Bruce (Georgette); his nephew-in-law John Montgomery; his great-nephew Josh Bruce; and his great-nieces, Hanna Clark, Bryson Kessler, Mary Ann Hudson and Beth Booth.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations by made to South Luverne Baptist Church.
