She was predeceased by: her son Rickey Brantley; her former husband Billy Palmer; her parents, Ansley Defee and Doris Reeves Defee; and her siblings, Hazel Vogie, Helen Pruitt, Frances Walker and Roger Defee.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Palmer (Vivian) and Josh Palmer (Angela); her grandchildren, Winter Palmer and Rachael Palmer; her brother Andy; and her sister-in-law Mae Palmer. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Turners Funeral Home (360 E 3rd St, Luverne, AL 36049). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
