He was predeceased by: his son Christopher Dean Beard; his parents, Raymond Beard and Nell Fike Beard; and his brother Jeff Beard. He is survived by: his partner Kaye Tomlin Oswald; his siblings, Steve Beard (Veronica), Sheila Douglas and Polly Stewart (Harold); and his nieces and nephews, Hannah Puentes, Samuel Douglas, Jennifer Judice, Edward Souza and Lauren Kassamali.
