He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Lee Hudson and Erma Nell Nelson; and his brothers, John Hudson and Dwan Hudson. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Cauthen Hudson; his son David Joshua Hudson; his sister Teresa Hudson; and his sister-in-law Vicki Hudson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Turners Funeral Home (360 E 3rd St, Luverne, AL 36049). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to one of Dan's favorite charities, either the Shriner's Children's Hospital or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
