It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Hugh Humphrey of Luverne, Alabama, who passed away on July 23, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Jonathan Humphrey; his parents, Joe Sam and Minnie May Norman Humphrey; and his brothers, Joe Henry Humphrey and Wayne Humphrey.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ann Sexton Humphrey; his children, Gary Humphrey (Regina), Karen Sullins (David) and Shea Harris (Andy); his grandchildren, Brent Humphrey (Sonya), Dane Humphrey (Kayla), Christian Mayer (Hal), Abby Farris (Jordan Owens), Thomas Farris (Tasha), Ben Harris, Sam Harris and Elizabeth Sullins; his great grandchildren, Skyler Humphrey, Rylee Owens, Jameson Farris, Jaxson Humphrey, Vella Humphrey, Charlie Humphrey and Hal Mayer; and his siblings, Agnes Stroud (Raymon) and Ronnie Humphrey (Brenda). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Danielville Baptist Church.
