She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Knighten and Naomi Folmar Knighten; her brother Benny Knighten; her brother-in-law Paul King; and her nephew Neil Knighten.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jo Ann King and Johnny Knighten (Judy). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Ms. Knighten asked that memorial donations be made to the South Luverne Baptist Church Mission Team.
