She was predeceased by: her husband Sam Russel Golson Sr.; her parents, Woodrow Wilson and Lucille Strickland Boutwell; and her brother Thomas Boutwell. She is survived by: her sons, Samuel Russel Golson Jr. (Angie), Rodney Clifton Golson (Julie) and Todd Anthony Golson (Barbara); her grandchildren, Kristy Lynn Anderson (Cody), Ann Marie Golson Moorer (Tristan), Whitney Alexas Golson, Samuel Russel Golson III, Taylor Golson Hall (Troy) and Kyleigh Payne Golson; her great grandchildren, Tori Hall and Trevor Hall; her sister-in-law Earnestine Boutwell; her niece Heather Boutwell Bedsole (Ronnie); and her nephew Heath Boutwell.
