We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2022, at the age of 96, Virgie S. Peterson of Loxley, Alabama, born in Humboldt, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Cledis Peterson. She is survived by: her children, Carol Middleton, Sandra Byrd (Jerry), Andy Peterson (Judy) and Mike Peterson (Pam). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Loxley, P. O. Box 114, Loxley, AL 36551 or to Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
