He was predeceased by: his father Glen Bartow Hartley; and his brother Rance McNair. He is survived by: his wife Christine Hartley; his children, Michelle Hartley and Nick Hartley (Heather); his grandchildren, Aubrey Michelle and Danielle Nicole; his mother Carolyn McNair; his siblings, Terry Hartley and Rita Pollett; and his sister-in-law Polly Bethea. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society in his name.
