He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dolphus Spivey and Mary Lou Gulledge Spivey; his son Gregory Winston Spivey; and his brother John Preston Spivey. He is survived by: his wife Clara Whaley Spivey; his son Scott Spivey, Sr. (Christy); his daughter-in-law Michelle Spivey of Miramar Beach, FL.; his grandchildren, Scott Delane Spivey, Jr. (Colby) of Miramar Beach, FL., Moriah Miller (Joey) of Miramar Beach, FL., Gregory Winston Spivey, Jr. of Miramar Beach, FL. and Martha Frances Spivey of Miramar Beach, FL.; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Spivey, James Spivey and Jesse Miller; and his siblings, Faye Casey (Gerald), Billy Frank Spivey (Debbie), Glenn Spivey (Glenda), Larry Spivey (Judy) and Kenneth Spivey (Ponce). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
