He was predeceased by: his siblings, Willis Creel and Joyce Creel Espinoza; his parents, James Shelton and Mary Ellenor Creel; and his daughter Betty Jo Creel Danner.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Dunaway Creel; his daughter Sarah Peterson (Allan) of Abbeville; his grandchildren, Patricia, Lauren Peterson and Elleanor Creel Green of Troy, Alabama; his daughters, Jericho Green of Louisville, Alabama and Leigh Creel Lee (Lamar) of Ozark, Alabama; his grandson Carlos Danner (Heather) of Linden; and his great grandchildren, Brody and Bryce Danner.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Pine Level Baptist Church (1110 Co Rd 33, Louisville, AL 36048).
