Haywood Allen Helms Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Haywood Allen Helms of Louisville, Alabama, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Quinton Winford and Fannie Evans Helms; his siblings, James Helms (Thelma), John W. Helms (Eileen), Quinton Helms, Jr. (Mervyn), Annie Catherine Segers (William Jr.) and Mildred Johnson (Merwin); and his siblings-in-law, Earl Baker, Louie Hurst, Spurgeon Baker (Barbara Sue), Dean Baker, Bobby Baker (Mary), Ruby Kate Faircloth (Andrew), Louise Helms and Ruth Helms.
He is survived by: his wife Minnie Lou Baker Helms; his daughters, Tina Louise Helms (John Michael) of Nicholson and Lisa Kaye Burnham (Ricky) of Clio, Alabama; his siblings, Durwood Helms (Betty) of Lititz, Pennsylvania and Mary Ann Tew (David) of McDonough, Georgia; his sisters-in-law, Luellen Baker of Daleville, Delma Hurst of Phenix City, Janis Baker of Daleville and Vivian Lambert (Jesse) of Daleville, Alabama; his grandchildren, John Quinton Helms (Yami Avila), Erica Lynn Holmes (Ryan), Ryan Fletcher Helms (Alyssa) and Dylan Kyle Burnham (Claire); and his great grandchildren, Hunter Holmes, Shelby Jo Holmes, Rylan Lassiter, Creede Lassiter, Kase Holmes, Mia Claire Helms, Carolina Grace Helms and Blakely Katherine Burnham. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
