He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charlie Childs and Myrtle Young Childs; his sisters, Beverly Childs Jones and Nell Childs Johnson; his wife Carol Poole Childs; his children, Cristy Edwards (Christopher) of Yellville, Ark., Richard Childs (Cindy) of Rome and Scott Childs (Eric) of Sydney, Australia; his grandchildren, Cristy Mason (Andrew), Katherine Glazer, Michael Edwards, Andrew Edwards (April), Emily Childs, Courtney Childs, Margot Childs and David Childs; and his great grandchildren, Kamryn Mason, Hayleigh Mason, Charlotte Glazer, Alec Glazer, Sarah Mason and Andrew Mason.
